In the HPSC HCS selection process, there are three stages which the candidates have to pass all the way to meet the recruitment of the post. But for that you have to bring in good marks so that it must meet the cutoff criteria of the HPSC. Students passing the Prelims round will be facing the mains exam and then who will qualify the mains shall be headed to the viva voice i.e. personality test. In the prelims exam the second paper i.e. CSAT was of qualifying in nature means you have to obtain 33% minimum qualifying in that which is necessary. Preliminary result should be based on the marks acquired in paper 1 only, provided that the candidate has scored 33% marks in Civil Services Aptitude Test (Paper – II).
Note: The Final merit list will be made according to marks secured in Mains exam and personality test out of 675 marks total.
